Job summary

Guidelight Health in Waltham, MA is seeking a Clinical Therapist (pre-licensed or full licensed) to provide high-quality behavioral health services within our PHP/IOP programs. You will perform assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy on-site at the Waltham Clinic.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision toward licensure, with a focus on professional growth and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Valid state licensure in Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW or LMHC).
• Willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals with behavioral issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and physicians for continuity of care.
• Complete suicide risk assessments within defined timeframes.

Title: Clinical Therapist,Pre-Licensed or Full Licensed

Department/Location: Onsite at our Waltham Clinic

FLSA Status: Exempt

Role Summary:

The Therapist willbe responsible forproviding high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.

• Conduct psychologicaland biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations todetermineclients' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveand continuity of care.
• Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
• Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
• Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
• Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
• Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications :

• A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure in the state of Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW or LMHC)
• If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Pay Range

$70,000 - $95,000 USD
