Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking a licensed behavioral health therapist to deliver high-quality PHP/IOP services. You will assess clients, create treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family therapy within a collaborative clinical team.

This role emphasizes supervision toward licensure, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical standards while supporting clients toward wellness in a cutting-edge program.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Valid NC state licensure (LCSW or LCMHC).
  • Willingness to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions: individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors for comprehensive care.
  • Complete suicide risk assessments within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to determine length of stay and level of care.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health and behavioral issues to build trust.
  • Stay updated on latest research in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Role Summary:

The Therapist willbe responsible forproviding high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.

Role Responsibilities/Competencies:
  • Conduct psychologicaland biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations todetermineclients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveand continuity of care.
  • Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
  • Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
  • Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure in the state of North Carolina (LCSW or LCMHC)
  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant PHP/IOP experience
  • GroupFacilitationexperience with willingness to follow a structured curriculum

Pay Range

$65,000—$85,000 USD
