MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston invites applications for a clinically oriented Therapeutic Medical Physicist in a full-time PhD faculty role. The candidate will support external beam and brachytherapy treatments, participate in QA of EBRT machines, CT-simulators, HDR/PDR units, and engage in research and education for graduate students and trainees.

The position requires a PhD in Medical Physics or Physics and ABR certification (completed or in progress).

Formación

• Requirements include a PhD in Medical Physics or Physics and ABR certification completed or in progress.
• Residency program graduate is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a large team are a must for the successful candidate.

Responsabilidades

• Support external beam and brachytherapy treatments at the main campus.
• Participate in QA for EBRT machines, CT-simulators, HDR and PDR units.
• Engage in research programs and in educational programs for graduate students and trainees.
• Contribute to special projects and other assignments as needed.
