Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital’s Medical Surgical unit is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This full-time day shift runs 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with days varying, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

As a Clinical Technician, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and visitors, and uphold professionalism across the healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned
