Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions in partnership with Lifepoint Health is seeking travel nurses for assignments at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. Positions span 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility need.

You will assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, monitor patient status, and coordinate across disciplines. Strong English, acute care experience, and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for the position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Monitor, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
