Job summary

Benevis, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Team Leader (Lead Dental Assistant) to serve as the clinical leader in the office, supporting the office manager and assisting doctors with treatment. This role focuses on delivering quality patient care in a collaborative dental practice.

You will lead clinical activities, support staffing, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a positive patient experience and teamwork across the office.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • X-ray certification, other certified dental assistant credentials are required (state and position specific).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  • Assist professional dental staff with treatment regularly.
  • Assist Ortho Manager in optimizing office efficiency and staffing ortho assistants.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring Patient Flow is running efficiently and space for Same Day Care.
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring, and training of new ortho assistants.
  • Uphold the office integrity by adhering to regulations and company standards.
  • Guide parents through processes before treatment, educate in oral hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions.
  • Operational readiness of the clinical section of the office.
  • Ensure dental equipment is working properly and coordinate with suppliers/technicians.
  • Order dental supplies and manage inventory.
  • Maintain staff integrity by adhering to regulations and compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned

We are actively seeking a Clinical Team Leader to join our growing team! As the Clinical Team Leader (Lead Dental Assistant) you will be the clinical leader at the office level responsible for providing support to the office manager for the day-to-day functions of the dental office and to the doctors for clinical treatment. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Ortho Manager in optimizing the efficiently of the office to better serve our patients through building teamwork and scheduling patients and staffing ortho assistants effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring Patient Flow is running efficiently and ensure the office is making space to offer Same Day Care
  • Assist with the recruiting and hiring, as well as responsible for the training of new ortho assistants
  • Responsible for upholding the office to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards
  • Ensure all parents are guided through our processes before treatment, are educated in oral hygiene instruction, and are provided postoperative instructions.
  • Responsible for the operational readiness of the clinical section of the office
  • Responsible for ensuring dental equipment is working properly and be point of contact with supply representatives and service technicians.
  • Responsible for ordering dental supplies and managing inventor
  • Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned
