Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an IT professional to design, build, implement and support clinical-based applications in a patient-centered environment.

The role acts as a liaison between IT and hospital units to tailor the Clinical System to meet the Hospital’s needs, with emphasis on basic to moderate technical tasks and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical or IT experience in a health care field.
• Experience with clinical systems like Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, Surgery, EHR and PACS.
• Experience implementing or supporting a clinical-based information system.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, and implementation of clinical applications.
• Act as a liaison between IT and organizational units to tailor the Clinical System to meet the Hospital's needs.
• Participate in help desk and after-hour rotations; respond to incidents.
• Document incidents and prepare test plans and task plans.
• Communicate progress and collaborate with team members.

Position Summary

Performs activities related to the design, build, implementation, and support for the clinical based applications. Provides general analysis of one or more applications and procedures within the healthcare setting. Performs work that tends to be of low to moderate technical and clinical complexity. Acts as a liaison between the Information Technology department and organizational units to tailor the Clinical System to meet the unique needs of the Hospital
