Responsibilities

• This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols.
• This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
• Assist with patient preparation, supplies and clerical support.
• Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA guidelines and Corporate Compliance policies.
• Ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information.
• Provide the care needed as described in the departmental policy and procedure guide to assist staff technologist.
• Collaborates with team members, physicians and physician office staff to provide for the specialized needs of the patients.
• Anticipates resource needs.
• Takes accountability consistently for daily responsibilities in addition to patient care.
• Demonstrates organization of work, knowledge of process/procedure and performs independently to support efficient operations.
• Executes workflow processes to support daily financial expectations with minimal variances.
