Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Support Tech I (Full Time) for the Hematology/Oncology Acute Care Unit (4 Oncology) in Chapel Hill, NC. The role is a dual Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator position with a 36-hour work week and rotating schedule.

Requirements include a Nursing Assistant I Certification and a High School diploma or GED; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Transport patients and equipment; set up patient rooms and maintain unit desk functions.
• Perform clerical tasks including orders, transcription, and PI/data entry.
• Provide clinical support including transport, linen changes, and patient care tasks as outlined in the plan of care.
• Reinforce patient education and document understanding of instructions.
