Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, part of Banyan Treatment Centers, is seeking a Clinical Support staff for our Lake Worth, Florida treatment team. The role involves conducting groups, supporting the primary Therapist in patient caseloads, and performing biopsychosocial assessments under Clinical Director guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related Human Services field.
• Master's degree in social work or a related Human Services field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, and strategies.
• Completes baseline clinical assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Conducts groups.
• Assist Therapist and Case Manager as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Responsible for covering client caseload in absence of primary Therapists.
• Assists Therapist in familial communication and documentation.
• Assists client in managing outside stressors.
• Maintains clinical records according to program policies and licensing/ accrediting agencies.
• Assists Therapist and Case Manager with discharge planning.

Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, a proud addition to Banyan Treatment Centers, is recruiting for a per-diem Clinical Support staff to join our treatment team in Lake Worth, Florida.

As part of the Clinical team, the Clinical Support staff is pivotal in serving individuals with primary substance use or mental-health disorders. This role involves conducting groups, assisting the primary Therapist in managing patient caseloads, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, and supporting various patient care activities under the guidance of the attending Clinical Director(s).

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, Sun - Thursday
• Location: Lake Worth, FL (On-site)
• Compensation: $25- $26hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating adequate preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, areas of resistance, positive and negative strategies, etc.
• Completes baseline clinical assessments, biopsychosocial.
• Conducts groups.
• Assist Therapist and Case Manager as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Responsible for covering client caseload in absence of primary Therapists.
• Assists Therapist in familial communication and documentation.
• Assists client in managing outside stressors.
• Maintains clinical records according to program policies and those of licensing and accrediting agencies.
• Assists Therapist and Case Manager with discharge planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related Human Services field.

Preferences

• Master's degree in social work or a related Human Services field.
• Active Florida LAMFT, LASW or ACSW.
• CADC or SUDDC.
• Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health treatment.

Abilities And Skills

• Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding client confidentiality.
• Proficiency in group facilitation.
• Skilled in crisis intervention, including de-escalation and suicide risk assessment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
