Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support the patient care unit on 3B at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. You will collaborate with the Unit Director and Staff Development Instructor, assist with procedures, and help manage equipment and supplies while supporting the nursing team with patient care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be willing to obtain BLS within 90 days, and enjoy a team-oriented healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or comparable substitute.
• Experience in health care environment preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical support on the patient care unit in collaboration with the Unit Director.
• Assists nursing staff with procedures and reviews equipment and supply needs.
• Reports patient data to RN in a timely manner and participates in risk management and infection control.
