Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is recruiting a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative supervision for counselors at the Region IV Facility in Baltimore, MD. The role ensures contract compliance and adherence to industry standards and obligations.

You will supervise daily substance use treatment services, participate in hiring, oversee records and evaluations, and collaborate with QA/Training to improve program outcomes. Strong communication and bilingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field.
• Must be credentialed to supervise counselors with certain credentials (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD).
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in substance-use disorder field.
• Preference for correctional setting experience.
• Licensed as LCADC, LCSW-C and/or LCPC preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision of all counselors and day-to-day delivery of substance use treatment services.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and coaching counselors to ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and evaluate counseling groups and individual sessions; complete annual performance evaluations.
• Review and finalize clinical documentation and daily productivity reports.
• Develop and conduct education programs related to drug and alcohol abuse; oversee program materials and training.
