Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Rochester, MN is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) to lead and develop staff, manage daily operations, and help meet service needs for youth and families across southeast Minnesota.

You will oversee clinical operations, implement trauma-informed practices, review data, support licensing compliance, and mentor clinicians. A Master’s degree and licensure track are required, with preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Must be on track for licensure; LGSW if social work track.
• Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or clinical experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DHS background check.
• Ability to meet diverse cultural needs and values.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Operations: develop policies to ensure effective client care and a trauma-informed culture.
• Strategy & Quality: use data to assess service trends, risks, and outcomes; oversee processes.
• Client Services: lead evaluations, treatment planning, and licensing compliance; document accurately.

Pay, location, schedule:

• $72,000 - 80,000 yearly salary for pre-licensed candidates
• $5,000 sign-on bonus!
• On-site at 2121 Campus Dr, Rochester, MN 4 days a week, work one day a week remote!
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday flexible day schedule
• $200 per pay period stipend for employees driving more than 45 miles!

Position Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor oversees, leads, and develops staff and manages daily operations within the service area, through effective leadership, communication, organization, and planning. This role is responsible for collaboratively meeting budgeted census projections while providing leadership to the Clinical team.

Primary responsibilities

• Clinical Operations:
  Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure effective client care. Foster a positive, trauma-informed culture and guide staff in daily decision-making and problem-solving.
  
• Strategy & Quality:
  Use data to assess service trends, risks, and outcomes. Oversee clinical processes and team performance, and support staff training and development.
  
• Client Services:
  Lead client evaluations, treatment planning, and ensure compliance with licensing standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  
• Staff Leadership:
  Hire, train, and mentor staff. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Support professional growth and uphold Nexus values.
  
• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure confidentiality, promote respectful communication, and monitor health and safety standards. Encourage diversity and inclusion across the team.

Requirements

Required Education and Licensure

• Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required.
• Must be on track for licensure - if on social work track, must have LGSW!
• Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or clinical experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements
• Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check.
• Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Five (5) years’ experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience preferred.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.
