Job summary

Northside-Hospital-Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee nursing operations on a unit while providing direct patient care. In the absence of management, you may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility and work with a unit-specific patient population.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Georgia RN licensure, and BLS certification, with preferred ACLS/PALS or specialty certifications depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two years of experience in clinical area and one year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing operations of a unit and provides direct patient care.
• May assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.
• Member of the unit-based leadership team and works with a unit-specific patient population.
