Job summary

Grow Through Life Counseling is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee direct client care and supervise up to six associate clinicians. This position supports a clinician-led practice serving children, teens, families, and individuals across California, with virtual options and in-person offices.

Candidates must hold a California license (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) for at least two years, be able to teach and supervise, and manage documentation. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California license (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) for at least 2 years.
• Experience providing direct care and supervising associates.
• Ability to train and mentor associate therapists.
• 72 hours documentation completed.
• Evenings, weekends or extended hours may be required.
• Bilingual fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, and care for own caseload.
• Provide triadic clinical supervision for up to 6 associates.
• Review and sign supervisees' notes.
• Provide feedback to Regional Director for employee reviews.

Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Type: Varies from 25 up to 40 hours per week, At-Will (Hourly)

Your role as a Clinical Supervisor:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for direct care of clients and caseload, and clinical supervision for up to 6 associate clinicians at a designated office.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, and care for your own caseload across the lifespan

• Provide triadic clinical supervision for up to 6 associates, depending on practice needs

• Review and sign notes for supervisees

• Provide feedback to the Regional Director for upcoming employee reviews

• Ensure adherence to all established clinical protocols, procedures, and quality of care standards

• Collaborates with other departments within the practice to maintain and provide great client care experience for client(s)

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture across all program teams, consistently demonstrating professionalism and integrity

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the region and the practice

You will be required to meet the following:

• Must hold a valid license with the BBS as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California for at least 2 years

• Invested interest in providing direct care

• Desire to teach and train associate therapists

• Complete documentation with 72 hours

• Able to work prime time hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and/or extended hours as needed

• Able to answer after hours or weekend calls of supervisees for emergent situations

• Provide substitute supervision for practice as needed

• Proficient computer skills in Google Workspace and EHRs

• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new programs, systems, and/or processes

• General knowledge of office skills, use of office equipment (copier, laser printers, fax machine, telephones, computers)

• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines

• Must possess effective written and oral communication and social skills

• Excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar

• Bilingual fluency a plus

• Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability

• Professional image and demeanor

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task and manage timely documentation

• Being consistent, punctual, and have reliable attendance

• Having a strong ability to communicate effectively and work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner

Compensation:

The base hourly rate range for this part to full-time position is $55-$68.

As a candidate for this position, your hourly rate and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills and any other factors that Grow Through Life Counseling considers relevant to the hiring decision for this position. In addition to the base pay rate, we believe in providing a very competitive and generous compensation and benefits package for our employees. Additional paid admin time rates available for this position.
