Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services seeks a Clinical Supervisor to join our Outpatient Clinic team. The role provides direct clinical oversight of staff delivering evidence-based evaluation, counseling, and medication management for children, families and adults with mental health and substance use needs.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with supervisory experience, dedicated to person-centered care and culturally competent practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Massachusetts clinical license (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist).
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or clinical leadership role.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical oversight, guidance, and supervision to outpatient staff in office and field-based settings.
• Supervise and support staff in delivering culturally competent, strength-based, and person-centered services.
• Oversee completion of clinical assessments, authorizations, crisis plans, admissions, and ongoing symptom monitoring.
• Manage staff providing side-by-side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
• Ensure completion of all treatment plans and active involvement of individuals in their treatment planning.
• Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength-based, realistic, attainable and promote recovery.

Education
