Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Tumwater, WA seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead the outpatient Child and Family Department. The role includes supervising clinical staff, training employees, and ensuring service quality while handling a small caseload.

Applicants must hold a Master’s in counseling or social sciences and a UI/Licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LSW) with state supervisor eligibility. Experience in management is required and commitment to Sea Mar’s diverse mission is essential.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Full-Time Clinical Supervisor position available immediately for our outpatient Child and Family Department in Tumwater, WA.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for

• supervision of clinical staff
• intern supervision
• training employees
• planning, assigning, and directing work
• assisting Program Manager with hiring and staff evaluations
• rewarding and disciplining employees
• addressing complaints and resolving problems
• contract compliance
• carrying a small case load of clients to provide direct care
• and other duties as needed

This position is currently eligible for a monthly retention incentive for every hour worked in addition to your base pay rate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a Masters degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social sciences.
• Have at least 5 years of clinical practice and management experience.
• Mental Health Professional; certification as a minority Mental Health Specialist as prescribed by WAC.
• Must meet the state clinical supervisor requirement.
• LMHC, LMFT, LSW, or other related licensure required.
