Clinical Supervisor - GA - LCSW - Hybrid

Thriveworks is currently seeking Licensed Clinicians to provide a mix of clinical supervision, telehealth sessions with patients, and face-to‑face sessions with patients in Athens, GA. This role is eligible for a competitive ramp stipend for clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week.

About the Job

Provision of clinical supervision to an assigned group of Resident Talk Therapists who provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling in an outpatient setting for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to a minimum of six resident clinicians, including weekly group supervision and individual supervision for every 15 clinical hours (minimum 7 hours/week). This may vary depending on resident caseload size.
• Maintain a clinical caseload seeing clients with at least 10 hours of availability per week (not a supervision‑only position).
• Provide documentation oversight.
• Coach residents on professional and clinical development.
• Complete weekly documentation as evidence of supervision sessions.
• Complete coaching documentation regarding any disciplinary or performance concerns.
• Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Director regarding any performance issues.

Qualifications

• Proactive team player who enjoys professionally developing others.
• Strong character traits – integrity, honesty, adaptability, and quality of care.
• Ability to be assertive in coaching residents on professional and clinical goals.
• Active license in good standing and residing within the state in which supervision will be provided.
• Meets state regulatory requirements for the provision of supervision, including maintaining required license and certifications. Licensure in process recognized by the state board is preferred.
• Active credentialing with required Incident‑to panels within the state where supervision will be provided.

Supervisor Requirements for LCSW in GA

• Licensed as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, marriage & family therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist.
• Has practiced in their specialty for at least 2,000 clock hours over a minimum of two years following licensure.

Compensation

• Clinical Caseload: Fee for Service rates with bonus potential (e.g., 90837 could be $48.58 to $56.35 depending on caseload).
• Supervision: $55.73 per group supervision session and $72.44 per individual supervision session. If the 90837 session code compensation exceeds the individual supervision rate, the 90837 rate will be used.
