Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. in Blairsville, GA, is seeking a Full Time Clinical Supervisor to oversee Counselors and Counselor Interns delivering treatment and casework in compliance with laws and BayMark policies.

The supervisor ensures timely documentation and identifies physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients. Travel may be required, and the role involves budgeting, quality assurance, and adherence to CARF standards with duties assigned by the Treatment

Qualifications

• Must be certified in Georgia as CAC II (Georgia)
• Candidate should have supervision experience with Associate Level counselors
• Knowledge of quality assurance file reviews and peer audits, including CARF requirements
• Possess patience and empathy towards patients; communicate positively with staff and patients
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Supervise Counselors and Counselor Interns following BayMark policies and regulations
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care
• Identify physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients
• Ensure compliance with company and funding expectations
• Manage related expenditures within the company's budget

Full Time - Clinical Supervisor

TheClinical Supervisorwill supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’ s policies and procedures. The clinical supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients. Supervisor will also manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company’s budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and the BayMark's policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plane of care.
• Identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
• Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.
• Travel as necessary.
• Other related duties as determined by Treatment Center Director.

Qualifications:

• Must be certified in state of Georgia, CAC II (certified addiction counselor II) in the State of Georgia- Credentialing agency of GACA or ADACBGA
• Candidate should have supervision experience with Associate Level counselors and able to supervise counselors on developing and updating ASI, PCPs, Crisis Plans, etc.
• The applicant should also have knowledge of quality assurance file reviews and peer audits, including requirements for CARF.
• Candidate should possess patience, empathy towards patients and ability to communicate in a positive manner with both staff and patients
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
