Job summary

ncgCARE is seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor in Newport News, VA to lead a team of behavioral health professionals, ensure clinical quality, and maintain partnerships with community organizations. The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Virginia licensure status, and at least 3 years of related experience.

You will manage operations, oversee staff performance, and support staff with crisis intervention, documentation, and service delivery, with up to 25% daily travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
• Virginia licensure status (associate supervisee or full license) required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a related field.
• Access to a working car and valid driver’s license.
• Daily travel up to 25%, minimal overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor, and support a team of behavioral health professionals.
• Review clinical documentation for quality and compliance; provide crisis guidance.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and referrals.
• Engage with clients and families at intake and during ongoing care.
• Provide crisis monitoring and staff support during crisis interventions.
