About the Role

Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking for an autonomous, flexible role where you can make a meaningful, long-term impact? We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) to join our clients team in Ventura County. In this role, you will oversee adult clients (ages 18 to elderly), managing a manageable caseload while working closely with families, day programs, and support teams. Whether you have extensive experience with adult populations or are a seasoned BCBA coming from a pediatric background who is excited to transition into adult services, they provide the training, structure, and support to help you succeed!

Why Apply?
  • Manageable Work-Life Balance: Very rarely does anyone on our team work over 40 hours a week. Most fall under it.
  • Scheduling Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom to set your own daily calendar alongside dedicated schedulers who manage appointment setup and communication.
  • Growth & Specialized Training: Receive specialized, company-funded training in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) alongside standard ABA and CBT modalities.
  • Smooth Onboarding: Expect a gradual ramp-up period over your first month focused on training, shadowing across Ventura County and gradually building your caseload.
  • Travel Benefits: Mileage reimbursement provided for all professional travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Caseload Management: Oversee approximately 30 adult cases (translating to roughly 3–4 client reviews/supervisions per day) to maintain 35 billable hours/week.
  • Clinical Oversight: Perform monthly Indirect Reviews (session notes, follow-ups) and direct/team Supervision in 2-hour blocks per client.
  • Direct Intervention & Territory Growth: Comfortably provide some direct intervention as needed while actively helping build out the caseload in the Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Thousand Oaks area.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner regularly with a diverse network of support systems, including parents, housing facilities, day centers, and interventionists.
  • Team Shadowing & Support: Overlap with Behavioral Interventionists (BIs) and conduct monthly team check-ins.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
  • Experience:
  • 1–3+ years of experience as a BCBA or Associate BCBA (conducting reports, evaluations, and assessments).
  • Strong self-starter who thrives in an independent, low-micromanagement environment.
  • Population Interest: Must be excited and passionate about working with the adult/elderly population. (Prior adult experience is a plus, but pediatric BCBAs looking to transition are welcome!)
  • Clinical Skills: Confident in conducting comprehensive evaluations, writing reports, and implementing behavior plans.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate client availability (typical core availability between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; occasional evening needs up to 7:00 PM).
  • Systems Familiarity: Comfortable learning or using clinical management software such as Catalyst and Insora.
  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
  • 2–3 Years: $85,000 – $90,000
  • 3–5+ Years: $90,000 – $95,000
  • Mileage reimbursement for field travel.
  • Free, specialized training in Acceptance & Commitment Training (ACT).
  • Structured support from two dedicated administrative schedulers.
