Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the clinical services provided by Qualified Mental Health Professionals within the community mental health agency. They provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to ensure that services are delivered effectively and in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards. The Clinical Supervisor also conducts intakes and assessments for potential clients referred for services and participates in program development, quality improvement activities, and staff training to enhance the overall quality of care the agency provides. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of person-centered care, managing caseloads, and strong interpersonal skills to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the orientation of new clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and other activities to support the overall functioning of the agency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the agency director or clinical leadership team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, psychologist, or related mental health professional.
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in providing mental health services, with at least one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
