Job summary

The Dorm is a mission-driven mental health organization in New York City seeking a licensed clinical supervisor to join our multidisciplinary team. This full-time role offers a salary between $90,000 and $100,000, with a commitment to diversity and evidence-based treatment.

Responsibilities include providing individual, group, and family therapy, conducting assessments, supervising clinical staff, and participating in weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold an LCSW license and state licensure in social work or counseling.
• 1-3 years of clinical supervisory and management experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of related clinical experience with adolescents or young adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy to clients and families.
• Conduct life-skills coaching in community settings as needed.
• Perform bio-psycho-social assessments and comprehensive intakes.
• Maintain compliant, up-to-date client charts.
• Participate in weekly supervision and co-facilitation as directed.
• Ensure at least 65 hours of clinical work per month.
• Supervise clinical and adjunct teams on best practices, documentation, and time management.
• Participate in utilization reviews and on-call coverage as required.
• Work up to two evenings per week.

We are looking for a passionate licensed clinical supervisor to join our multidisciplinary New York City team and contribute to our goal of making a difference.

What You Will Do:

• Provides individual, group and family therapy for The Dorm clients and family members, as applicable.
• Provides life-skills coaching off-site in the community and in clients’ apartments as clinically indicated.
• Conducts Bio-Psycho-Social Assessments and comprehensive intakes of all prospective clients.
• Maintains accurate and up to date charts that are in compliance with the expectations and standards outlined in The Dorm’s Policy and Procedure manual.
• Participates in weekly supervision, group supervision, and co-facilitator supervision as indicated by direct supervisor.
• Responsible for at least 65 hours of clinical work per month.
• Provides supervision to clinical team/adjunct team individually and at group level around best practices, organization, documentation and time management.
• Participates in Utilization Reviews as needed and instructed by Operations Manager.
• Participates in On-Call weekly coverage system on a rotating basis up to four times per year.
• Work up to 2 evenings per week.

What You Need to Qualify:

• Must have LCSW license.
• State Licensure in social work or counseling required.
• The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of clinical supervisory and management experience.
• Extensive experience treating personality disorders is strongly preferred.
• The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of related experience in a clinical setting with adolescents or young adults.
