JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides intervention and treatment services to assigned caseload. Implements plans meant to improve behavior and develop social or independent living skills. Completes assessments. including intake. to monitor client progress. Assists client’s family in understanding the early intervention process and navigating the care system. Supervises staff and Interns, reviewing reports on client progress.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts intake for clients entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring service recipient understands all forms, assuring signature on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing, as assigned. Conducts assessment and write assessment summaries, as assigned.
  • Assists service recipient in developing an individualized treatment plan/behavior intervention plan (BIP). Monitors service recipient progress in treatment and participates in treatment plan/BIP reviews as assigned. Updates treatment plans/BIPs as appropriate. Submits BIP for review by the Behavior Management Committee and the Human Rights Committee.
  • Provides intervention and treatment services to assigned caseload. Implements plans meant to improve behavior and develop social or independent living skills. Conducts assessments to monitor client progress.
  • Maintains appropriate contact with external sources including providing information on service recipient progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
  • Reviews submitted reports from Behavioral Analysts for accuracy and compliance with regulations and program requirements. Provides feedback and corrective action to Behavioral Analysts.
  • Provides leadership with assistance in determining program functionality. Assists with developing plans and actions to improve services provided.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Skilled in customer service techniques.
  • Skilled in problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level

Master’s degree required.

Years of Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

Clinical Licensure required.

Pay Range:

$55,900.00–$78,330.00
