Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor supervises mental health outpatient treatment at their site. This individual supervises the Mental Health Therapists in all phases of the therapists’ work, provides direct services to clients, and conducts groups, intakes, and assessments. The person in this position also supervises the support staff in the implementation of systems, and coordinates with the Behavioral Health Program Manager regarding administrative and clinical management procedures relating to clients.

This person must sign an oath of permanent confidentiality covering all patient related information.
This person must receive a background check from DSHS and Washington State Patrol.
This person must comply with all ethical standards of Sea Mar and as required by DOH.
The person in this position shall have no history or evidence of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three (3) years immediately prior to the date of employment at the facility, and no misuse of alcohol or other drugs while employed at this center.
This person must complete an annual clinical competency test as a mental health therapist.
The Regional Director shall sign and date the job description to affirm the validity of the information herein.

Knowledge and experience working with Latinos, migrant and seasonal farm workers, and homeless individuals, is preferred.
This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
Must take a TB test annually and at time of hire.
Annual influenza vaccine required. Only exception is for employees with a medical or religious exemption approved by Administration.
Employees with an approved medical or religious exemption must wear a mask at all time during the flu season.

This position supervises the clinical work performed by Mental Health Therapists at the site. The position will work with and support Sea Mar employees and patients to help fulfil the organization’s mission.
Work Schedule/Location Salary - Salary Plan $80,000.00 USD Annual Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM (40 hours, full-time)
Location will initially be at Sea Mar Federal Way Behavioral Health for a minimum of 18 months, and employee will transition to the newly remodeled space for Sea Mar Burien Behavioral Health that is planned to be open in 2027.
