Job summary

The University of Utah Health is seeking a Clinical Study Coordinator IV to coordinate technical and administrative details for multiple clinical trials or research studies. You will support Principal Investigators, lead recruitment and consent processes, and ensure accurate study documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating study visits, ensuring resource availability, and reporting adverse events to the IRB and sponsor.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 8 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 6 years of directly related work experience.
• Department may hire at Clinical Study Coordinator IV with specified education and experience requirements.
• Experience coordinating clinical trials and managing IRB submissions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical and administrative details for clinical trials and research studies.
• Assess protocol clarity and subject safety, manage consent, and maintain study documentation.
• Coordinate visits, schedules, budgets, and IRB/sponsor communications.
• Prepare CRFs, reconcile data, and ensure regulatory compliance and proper specimen handling.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalency

8 years of directly related work experience or 6 years with Master’s
