Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to oversee the proper storage and distribution of medications, maintain records, and provide drug information.

The role includes supervisory duties, participation in pharmacy services, and on-call responsibilities. Minimum qualifications include a BS in Pharmacy and an active state license; hospital experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current State Registered Pharmacist license required.

Responsibilities

• Proper storage and distribution of drugs and medicinal agents; maintenance of records; provide drug information within professional judgment.
• Supervisory, administrative, technical and judgmental responsibilities to ensure appropriate patient medication regimens.
• Participation in drug utilization review activities; on-call responsibilities.
