Clinical Staff Pharmacist, Acute Care - Part Time

Springhill Medical Center's inpatient pharmacy provides services for 200+ inpatients, an advanced heart care center, and one of the busiest emergency departments in the city.

Pharmacists are required to: manage medication dosing and monitoring services, participate in proactive antibiotic stewardship program, verify orders placed in 100% electronic chart, and manage technician staff.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Current Alabama Pharmacist license
• Valid controlled substance certificate.

Job Requirements

• Hospital Pharmacy experience required
• Basic math skills required for compounding IVs
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform moderate physical work exerting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
