Job summary

UK St. Claire in Morehead, Kentucky seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.

You will develop individualized therapy plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient function and safety. The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid SLP license, and 2–3 years of paid experience; BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders or related field.
• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of paid experience in the field; part-time/PRN prorated.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Document accurately and maintain coding/billing for encounters.
• Mentor students and new staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
