The role requires a master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology with state licensure and CPR certification, plus at least one year of clinical experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and licensure in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Proven verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environment as appropriate.
• Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care.
• Administer speech therapy using specialized techniques/equipment.
• Recommend communication devices indicated by patient needs.
• Coordinate with referring physicians and other staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Prepare notes and maintain clinical competency as per policy.
