Job summary

NeoGenomics is seeking a Specimen Transport Specialist based in Fort Myers, FL to perform daily specimen pickups and deliveries in support of the logistics team.

This entry-level role involves driving routes, maintaining records, and ensuring timely collection of specimens while adhering to safety and biohazard policies. Shift is Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years driving experience preferred; medical courier/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps and read/write English.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle heavier packages with equipment/assistance.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to pick up, deliver, and properly store specimens and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered.
• Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and the public.
• Ensure timely specimen collection and route compliance.
• Perform route audits and QA checks on samples.
• Keep vehicle area clean and follow safety policies.
