Job summary

Cook Medical seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical support for extensive medical device product lines through direct physician interaction, staff education and procedural consultation. The Aortic Intervention division focuses on endovascular solutions for abdominal and thoracic aortic disease.

The role involves educating customers, supporting the sales force and internal teams, and maintaining knowledge of product lines and safety standards. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support during procedures.
• Identify, establish and develop relationships with key decision-makers to support product lines.
• Educate customers through in-servicing training, literature, videos and articles.
• Provide clinical experience to Sales, Product Development, Marketing, QA and other groups.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines, procedures, ethics and educational requirements.
• Support the annual business plan to help the sales team meet goals.
• Complete expense and call reports and other documentation as required.
• Maintain communication with Regional Manager and support functions.
• Maintain reports and records accurately and timely.
• Interact professionally across levels of the global organization to achieve goals.
• Adhere to safety requirements and maintain attendance and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, within the organization.
• Maintain calm in fast-paced situations.
