Job summary

The Bronx Health Collective, in partnership with Montefiore Health System, seeks a Clinical Psychologist to provide individual, group, and family therapy for children, teens, adults, and families, with a focus on unaccompanied minors and asylum-seeking families.

You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, write letters of support, coordinate with medical and social services, and contribute to a collaborative, culturally competent care team that serves NYC's vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology (NY licensed)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary care teams
• Experience with social determinants of health and underserved populations

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical care including individual, group, and family therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Completes biopsychosocial assessments for new patients.
• Writes letters of support and/or affidavits for housing, immigration and related issues.
• Documents care in the EMR in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Attends and participates in mental health team meetings and events.
• Coordinates care with medical providers across an interdisciplinary team.
• Acts as mental health consultant to medical providers during regular hours.
