Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee cognitive behavioral therapy and clinical services. You will train, coach, and develop staff, work with clinical and operational leaders on performance improvement, and participate directly in patient care as needed.

The role involves supervising clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting program fidelity. Occasional travel to multiple locations and on-site service delivery are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients according to clinical standards of care.
  • Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
  • Meet with families and participate in education through regular support and treatment update sessions.
  • Provide consultations and case evaluations as requested based on area of specialty.
  • Provide supervision and promote the professional development of clinical staff and document supervision according to regulatory requirements and standards of care.
  • Supervise clinical staff with an orientation on clinical independence in practice.
  • May supervise workforce management activities including timecard and PTO approvals, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Train clinical staff in leading treatment team meetings, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain and assure consistent service delivery by observing clinical processes and monitoring program outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain standardized clinical program materials.
  • Conduct formal training within areas of expertise relevant to clinical care and best practice.
  • Participate in community seminars, lectures, and marketing activities to assist with business development.
  • Offer ongoing training, support, and coaching to staff members.
  • Promote a culture of outcome-based assessment and use of proven outcomes to drive care.
  • Utilize patient outcome measures to drive care recommendations and monitor program health.
  • Develop and monitor clinical leadership standard practice using metrics and performance-based outcomes.
  • Assess and maintain quality of documented interventions and treatment plans according to standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of medical records and treatment plans; conduct periodic audits.
  • As required, participate in rotating on-call schedules and travel to provide on-site services across locations.

Job description

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the cognitive behavioral therapy and clinical services provided at Rogers Behavioral Health (RBH) according to established standards of care. The Clinical Supervisor works directly with members of the clinical team to train, coach and develop staff providing care. With direct service involvement, this position has a comprehensive understanding of how the programs operate and works collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders on performance improvement activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Provide direct cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients according to clinical standards of care.
  • Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
  • Meet with families and participate in education through regular support and treatment update sessions.

  • Supervise clinical staff with an orientation on clinical independence in practice.
  • May serve as direct manager for assigned staff, accountable for workforce management activities (e.g. timecard and PTO approval), performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and professional development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Train clinical staff in leading treatment team meetings by orienting to the assessment, treatment, and discharge planning of patients who receive clinical services.
  • Maintain and assure consistent service delivery for patients receiving care through observing clinical processes and monitoring the fidelity of the clinical care provided in the program.
  • Develop and maintain standardized clinical program materials.
  • Conduct formal training within areas of expertise as relevant to clinical care and best practice.
  • Conduct community seminars, lectures, and marketing activities to assist with business development.
  • Offer ongoing training, support, and coaching to staff members.
  • Promote a culture of outcome-based assessment and utilization of proven outcomes to drive care.
  • Utilize and encourage utilization of patient outcome measures to drive recommendations for care. Monitor and share program outcomes to ensure health of the clinical programming offered.
  • Develop and monitor clinical leadership standard practice using metrics and performance-based outcomes.
  • Assess and maintain quality of documented interventions, including patient care plan according to organizational standards and standard work.
  • Assure documentation of treatment plans, hierarchies and psychosocial information and completeness of the medical record.
  • Conduct periodic audits of medical records to assure proper documentation of services provided.
  • As required by site, program and/or level of care, participate in a rotating on-call schedule, and may need to respond onsite to urgent issues, emergencies, and coverage of critical staffing gaps outside of regular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • As required by site, program and/or level of care, may require the ability to travel and provide on-site services across multiple locations, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
  • Assist in promoting a team atmosphere by treating individuals with respect and honesty and by using direct communication and active listening skills.
