Job Summary:

The Clinical Services Manager assures the highest level of quality is achieved for all clients served by PHI Air Medical through coordinating continuing and new hire education. The Clinical Services Manager mentors new and existing employees and assures that all required certifications and licensures are up to date and in good standing. The position requires knowledge of support functions of each client based on defined standards of performance and practice, to meet or exceed client expectations. The position works in collaboration with internal and external customers along with their representatives to foster relationships, referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs. The position works closely with the PHI Health leadership team, clinical staff, medical staff, and leadership teams at each client and customer facility to identify, trend, and report barriers to patient access and throughput.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage region clinical practice, medicaloperations and systems of care.

  • Coordinate clinical oversight with regionleadership and medical director(s).

  • Collaborate on clinical practice guidelinedevelopment and enhancement as a member of the PHI clinical practice committee.

  • Harmonize region clinical care with PHIenterprise standards and other clinically related state or regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure clinical training and competency validations are up to dateand being performed.

  • Monitor, evaluate and report on enterprise andregion clinical quality measures.

  • Strengthen patient care practices usingestablished clinical CQI processes.

  • Initiate and oversee region clinical qualityinitiatives.

  • Investigate, manage and document high risk clinical events.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

  • RN license in all assigned states

  • Five years of air medical transport experience orequivalent

  • Two years of supervisory experience or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.

  • Excellent writing, speaking and communicationskills.

  • Effective human relations and interpersonalskills

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP and TPATC certificate course or equivalent

  • Certified Flight Registered Nurse
