Job summary

NMS Labs, a leader in forensic, clinical, and public health testing, seeks talented professionals to join our Clinical Scientific Engagement Team in Horsham, PA. Candidates should have a Master’s or PhD in a science field with relevant experience and be ABCC/NRCC eligible or certified.

Responsibilities include overseeing new test development, validation, and implementation, and collaborating across marketing, sales, and R&D to ensure top-quality service and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's in a science-related field with 4–6 years of experience or Ph.D. with 3–5 years in a commercial clinical laboratory environment.
  • ABCC or NRCC eligible or certified is preferred.
  • Experience with CLIA regulations and analytical method development is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Clinical Scientific Engagement Team to monitor and help oversee new test development, validation and implementation.
  • Monitor patterns and trends of clinical test orders, service delivery and distribution of results to ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Develop clinical expertise through CME events, symposia and literature reviews.
  • Serve as internal SME in clinical testing and collaborate with marketing, sales, R&D, and lab operations to achieve objectives.
  • Organize and coordinate internal and external scientific engagement efforts for the Clinical Business Unit; tailor content for audiences.
  • Generate scientific content with staff for webinars, publications, and social media; review for technical accuracy.
  • Participate in strategy discussions to maintain market leadership and seek innovation opportunities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with Clinical Sales on important calls.
  • Increase visibility of clinical testing capabilities with current and future opinion leaders.
  • Identify and maintain collaborations with national leaders, investigators and societies influencing the market.
  • Review and advise on the Clinical testing portfolio and updates to references where needed.
