Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Scion Health, is seeking a highly skilled travel nurse to join a community hospital for 8, 10, or 13 weeks in Gardena, CA. You will perform comprehensive nursing care, document actions, and collaborate with care teams to support patient outcomes.

Requirements include at least 1 year of acute care experience, an active nursing license, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
