Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Scion Health, is seeking a skilled travel nurse for Greensboro, NC, to support our community hospital for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility need.

You will perform plan of care interventions, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. Nursing license, acute care experience, and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
