Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, is seeking a full-time Utilization Review professional onsite to coordinate clinical reviews and support case management.

The role requires advanced degrees (MPH or equivalent; medical or dental degree) and knowledge of clinical pathophysiology and pharmacology, with strong communication and independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Master of Public Health or related health care field required.
• Medical or Dental degree required.
• Knowledge of Clinical Pathophysiology and Pharmacology required.
• ECFMG Certification and/or US-based Health and Human Services degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete clinical reviews for patient medical records with the CMO.
• Participate in Case Management and UR meetings.
• Educate departments on UR processes.
• Review charts to ensure admission and continuation criteria are met.
• Gather data and respond to payer or intermediary requests.
• Coordinate discharge referrals with clinical staff and families.
• Work independently with sound judgment.
