Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and provides appropriate nursing care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors effects.
• Provides patient education and prioritizes care.
• Formulates teaching plans involving family when appropriate.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Assists physicians with procedures as needed.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates post-discharge planning.
• Promotes cost-effective practices and efficient use of supplies.
• Keeps patient safety as a priority and participates in lifelong learning.
