Job summary

Feather River Care Center seeks an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse (RN) licensed in California to partner with clinical leaders across California facilities. The role focuses on coaching Directors of Nursing to achieve clinical, cultural, and financial excellence while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position requires frequent travel among facilities, on-site presence, and strong CMS/CDPH knowledge to refine processes and support quality care across the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• CA RN license; CPR certification; valid driver’s license.
• 5 years of DON-level experience in long-term care; multi-site experience preferred.
• Leadership coaching and staff development for facility teams.
• Strong knowledge of CMS and CDPH regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site reviews of clinical operations, medical records, and staff performance.
• Guides Directors of Nursing toward clinical, cultural, and financial excellence within facilities.
• Educates facility staff on clinical and regulatory issues and facility policies.
• Mentors and supports DONs for professional growth and performance.
• Identifies quality of care issues and drives corrective actions and improvement.
