Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers ordered medications as prescribed.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and provide services.
• Works with multidisciplinary teams in providing patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures requiring technical and manual skills.
• Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and family.
• Demonstrates cost-effective practices and non-wasteful use of supplies.
• Prioritizes patient care effectively.
• Promotes patient safety by reducing risk of harm.
• Engages in lifelong learning related to the nursing profession.
