Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health invites a Generalist with a keen interest in clinical research to join AVES in Austin, TX. This role blends hands-on patient care with innovative clinical studies, including GCP trials and industry-sponsored projects.

You will collaborate with a board-certified Medical Oncologist and dedicated staff, contributing to research that may fund novel treatments. A strong interest in evidence-based medicine and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure.
• Board certification (DABVP), current pursuit of DABVP certification, or interest in pursuing certification is preferred but not required.
• Clinical research experience.
• Passion for evidence-based medicine and advancing veterinary care through scientific discovery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a board-certified Medical Oncologist and research team to conduct sponsored clinical trials.
• Participate in GCP studies, proof-of-concept investigations, and industry-sponsored research projects.
• Provide high-quality patient care while helping clients access treatment options through studies.
• Manage a diverse caseload beyond traditional general practice, including chronic disease and pain management.
• Support data entry, study coordination, and protocol compliance within the research framework.
