Job summary

Iterative Health is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to serve as a delegated Sub-Investigator across multiple active studies under PI supervision, combining advanced clinical practice with clinical research.

You will conduct medical histories and physical exams, evaluate eligibility, monitor participant safety, perform protocol-required assessments, obtain informed consent as delegated, and mentor CRCs and research staff to uphold study quality.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
• DEA preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a delegated Sub-Investigator under the supervision of the PI.
• Conduct comprehensive medical histories and protocol-required physical examinations.
• Evaluate potential study participants for eligibility per protocol criteria.
• Conduct informed consent discussions and obtain consent when delegated.
• Determine continuation, additional monitoring, or withdrawal in collaboration with the PI.
• Provide ongoing clinical care and oversight during participation.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage health concerns within licensure and delegated authority.
• Monitor safety via AEs/SAEs and review tests and medications.
• Order, review, and sign protocol-required clinical assessments and results.
• Prescribe study-related medications as allowed by protocol and law.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR/EDC systems.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, HIPAA, and sponsor requirements.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education.
