Job summary

The Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU seeks a highly organized Clinical Research Associate (Project Director) to lead day-to-day operations of a multi-site supportive care trial, partnering with investigators, lab manager, and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include study planning, regulatory compliance, participant recruitment and data management using REDCap, with a focus on survivor health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of clinical research coordination.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of clinical research coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills in English.
• Experience on human clinical intervention trials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person.
• Ability to lead a large clinical trial.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of a multi-site clinical trial.
• Manage study timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Supervise and train research staff involved in recruitment and data collection.
• Oversee participant recruitment, retention, and engagement.
• Ensure regulatory, institutional, and study compliance.
• Develop and maintain study databases and tracking systems, including REDCap.
• Monitor data quality, completeness, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate research team meetings and sponsor communications.
• Oversee participant randomization and intervention implementation.
• Track adherence, retention, and safety outcomes.
