Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s CARE program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Program Manager to lead day-to-day administration, contribute to protocol development, and support manuscript and grant activities across local and national study sites.

The role involves hiring and onboarding staff, maintaining regulatory knowledge, and coordinating with oncologists, palliative care clinicians, psychiatrists, and psychologists to advance research and patient care.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience required.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the principal investigator to oversee all laboratory projects.
• Assist with grant submissions and writing research proposals, developing templates, and collecting documentation from investigators and study sites.
• Assist with manuscript preparation for peer‑reviewed journals, including literature reviews and editing.
• Assist with abstract and presentation submissions for local, regional, national, and international conferences.
• Assist with writing protocols, IRB applications, and consent documents, and manage timelines and amendments.
• Collaborate to develop standard operating procedures and templates to improve efficiency and consistency across studies.
• Oversee IRB communications for projects and monitor trial milestones.
• Oversee data collection in collaboration with clinical research coordinators for accuracy and compliance.
