Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Research Program Coordinator in the Addiction Sciences Division. You will support the Principal Investigator in coordinating and executing research projects and clinical trials focused on substance use and trauma-related outcomes.

You will be involved in collecting questionnaires, interviews, laboratory data and other research data, with responsibilities spanning data collection, regulatory documentation and participant coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience.
• Experience in clinical research is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of research protocols and allocate resources to meet workload.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and document participant assessment data.
• Oversee data collection and entry; track research participants and prepare reports for weekly meetings.
• Evaluate participants for study entry and assist with screening and recruitment.
• Complete regulatory documentation for submissions and maintain study documentation per FDA/IRB guidelines.
• Monitor study documentation for protocol compliance and safety.
