Job summary

K2 Medical Research in Maitland, FL seeks a Clinical Research Physician to support in an onsite, full-time capacity. Board-Certified, Board-Eligible, or Resident-level physicians welcome; no prior clinical research experience required and training provided.

Join a team with 20+ years in clinical trials across neurodegenerative disorders, obesity, diabetes, and more. The role offers collaboration with nurses and research coordinators and opportunities to advance in a fast-paced research setting.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of general medicine.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, efficient, and able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight to the research team and patients.
• Review patient eligibility for trials.
• Meet with patients during study visits for assessments and data collection.
• Review lab results, EKGs, and safety assessments per protocol.
• Monitor safety variables including adverse events and lab abnormalities.
• Maintain GCP compliance and complete trainings.
• Attend study meetings and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and study staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
