Qualifications

• Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal quality of medical care for patients in studies and educates staff using reference materials.
• Educates nursing staff on drug protocols and assists with updating policies and procedures.
• Arrange follow-up visits to assess care quality and monitor adverse patient responses.
• Assess patient eligibility for investigational studies and arrange necessary baseline tests and scans.
• Review informed consent with patients and coordinate follow-up tests and IRB communications.
• Ensure adherence to protocol, monitor study drug, and manage lab procedures and specimen handling.
