Qualifications

• Active California RN licensure.
• ACLS certification required; BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a medical facility.
• Clinical research experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Proficiency in telemetry, ECG and advanced life support.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and clinical research software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical study procedures, collect data per protocol, and administer study medications as assigned.
• Monitor participant safety, report adverse events, and ensure minimal discomfort during procedures.
• Utilize telemetry and ECG equipment, maintain proficiency in advanced life support, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation, adhere to data collection SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new clinical staff, participate in ongoing quality assurance, and attend relevant team meetings.
• Stay current with licensure, certifications (BLS/ACLS), and continuing education requirements relevant to clinical research nursing.
• Promote a professional, caring environment for study participants and staff, maintaining confidentiality and supporting clinic operations.
• Perform inventory checks, report supply needs, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adapting to evolving responsibilities as required.
